Frequently asked questions
The marketplace for vetted, runnable AI prompts.
What can I do with GeraPrompts?↓
Find prompts and prompt-chains for tasks you do regularly (drafting, research, analysis, code review), run them on the model of your choice, save tuned variants, and share with your team.
Why is this different from a list of prompts on a blog?↓
Each prompt is runnable on the spot, version-controlled, benchmarked, and licensed. You see real outputs and measured quality before you pay. Authors are paid for value, not blog clicks.
Which models are supported?↓
OpenAI GPT-4 family, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Mistral, Llama, and on-device models. Each prompt declares which models it has been tuned and tested for.
How is a prompt benchmarked?↓
Authors publish expected outputs on a fixed input set. We run that on the declared models and publish accuracy, latency, and cost. Buyers see the report before purchase.
How does pricing work?↓
Authors choose: pay-per-run, monthly subscription, or one-time licence. Gera takes a transparent platform fee. Prices are upfront on every listing.
Do I need an API key?↓
Run inside GeraPrompts using our model credits, or bring your own API key for direct billing. Both options are supported.
Can I edit a prompt I bought?↓
Yes. Save tuned variants to your private library. Authors release updates like software and you can choose whether to track or pin.
Can I publish my own prompts?↓
Yes — apply via geraprompts.gera.services/publish. Submissions are reviewed for safety and benchmark integrity before listing.
Are workflows (multi-step) supported?↓
Yes. Chain prompts with conditional logic, retries, and external API calls. Share a workflow URL and others can run the whole flow on their data.
How are author payouts handled?↓
Weekly payouts to your bank account or wallet. Gera handles invoicing, taxes, and fraud. Earnings dashboard shows runs, revenue, and refunds.
Is my data private?↓
Yes. Your inputs and outputs are not shared with prompt authors unless you explicitly opt in to feedback. Encrypted at rest, EU region by default.
Can teams use GeraPrompts together?↓
Yes. Team workspace tier provides a shared library, role-based permissions, audit logs, and central billing.
